Activities within ERASMUS+ project “Enhancing capacity of universities to initiate and to participate in clusters development on innovation and sustainability principles” (UniClaD)

Program Erasmus +, project KA2 n° 609944-EPP-1-2019-1-LT-EPPKA2-CBHE-JP

  • to develop special modules for masters and postgraduate students, such as: statistics, project development, econometrics; modules aimed at contemporary challenges: climate change, COP21 commitments, food security, poverty alleviation;

  • to study EU experience in the field of university activities within clusters and to spread this information among stakeholders;

  • to organize special trainings, study visits for business, science and education representatives for demonstration the benefits and potential of cluster collaboration;

  • to develop a legislative framework that defines the rules and conditions for the functioning of universities in clusters, in accordance with national legislation;

  • to create the prerequisites for the creation of four clusters (water management and aquaculture, new technologies (IT) in agriculture, agro-tourism cluster and milk production and processing with emphasis on traditional local products, biotechnology in poultry);

  • to develop Master's and Ph.D. level reseach in accordance with pilot projects.
